I mourn for him...

Many, many years ago, I bought Lacoste Land for myself, just to sniff it and dream. When I close my eyes today, I can still smell it clearly, but I couldn't describe it from memory anymore. Still, I try to bring my impressions back:

I stroll through the forest early in the morning. It rained during the night, humid warmth lingers in the air, the moss and leaves shine... Sunbeams find their way through the trees, warming my face. From the headphones of my Walkman (which I still had back then), The Adventures played "Broken Land"... The scent of nature envelops me, I feel safe and protected.

Back then, I decided to marry the man to whom this scent belongs, so it finally finds its worthy owner (Cinderella in a different way..:-) I imagined a nature-loving, honest, kind man, not a bore, and you should be able to steal horses with him... and lo and behold, it worked! I found him 21 years ago and kept him:-). Unfortunately, there is not a drop of Lacoste Land left, but I am sure he would still use it today.

It's a pity we never found a proper replacement for "Land"...

It's really a shame that this fragrance is no longer in production. I've never been able to find a similar scent...

I love this scent just as much. If I can give you a tip, check eBay for a mini. I've already snagged five there for little money, and all of them are in perfect condition!

Consolation prize! At least the man is still around... that's what really matters. ;)
