Feel-good fragrance for the office
We only met recently and it was love at first sniff. Unfortunately, it seems to be a love with an expiration date.
But I'll start from the beginning...
I was looking for a feel-good office fragrance. Even a short shelf life doesn't bother me. I really like it when I catch a whiff of perfume by chance. For example, when I wrap my scarf around me and am greeted by a soft, cozy fragrance. Mmm!
While browsing in the perfumery, I tried this and the "normal" Pour Femme. I couldn't stop sniffing "Pour Femme Intense". I usually wait to see how the fragrance develops on my skin before buying perfume, but I bought this one straight away and have no regrets. The fragrance is light and fresh, not too sweet, pleasantly cuddly and vanilla-like. The "normal" one is a little too scratchy for me, but I don't feel that way with the "Intense" one. It's definitely the nicer version for me!
I then searched for the fragrance online and couldn't find it anywhere. Contacted Lacoste customer service; answer: production has been discontinued. What a shame!
I went out again and now have three bottles at home. Until these are used up, I will probably continue my search for another feel-good office fragrance...
