Creamy, Comforting, and Courteous
There is nothing intense about this...and I mean NOTHING! Am I necessarily mad or upset about that...No.

However, just for the sake of context, I do believe that if a fragrance claims to be intense, that it should meet that standard. I will say, however, that I did not purchase this for that particular facet. I was drawn to the scent profile and my newfound love of gourmands. So with that being said, I'm not disappointed with it at all.

I really love the opening...but boy oh boy does this fade very quickly. The first thing that came to my mind when spraying it was "Mmmmm, caramel macchiato". Notably, I also appreciate how subtle and polite this fragrance is. It's very comforting. I get about 4 hours of wear before I feel the need to reapply, but during those 4 hours I really enjoy what I experience in terms of feeling that I smell rather pleasant. No one is going to be offended by this fragrance...at least not from what I can tell.

If I were to describe it in a few words, I'd have to say that it is ....casually beautiful. This is perfect for wearing on it's own or for layering. Shame it's been discontinued.

Chic!, BUT ...
Lacoste Pour Femme Intense is certainly a wonderful and beautiful gourmand fragrance;
it resembles its sister, at least in the heart and base notes; the beginning starts powerfully with beautiful caramel - for a brief moment, Joop - LeBain also flashes through, which could possibly be due to the musk. The problem: the classic sister is already just a lukewarm (albeit beautiful) breeze on my neck - the only intense thing about this variant is the speed with which it evaporates from my skin! 2 hours (!!), then the show is already over. No one perceives the scent on me - not even when asked!
This is truly a short & disappointing intermezzo (for me and my skin); because the scent itself has potential! It is pleasing, warm, powdery like the EDP. The caramel in the top note is sweet and liquid; at first (beautifully) sticky!

Unfortunately, however, a (mis)blind purchase that I could have done without!
(Just no sympathy! I wanted it this way!)

I envy all the others for whom the scent lasts and lasts and lasts! - That must be a wonderful fragrance experience!

For my skin, unfortunately (!!) a tragedy - much ado about nothing.

What you see is what you get!
Sandalwood caramel meets musk rose... that's how simple one could summarize the comment on the new Lacoste release. Yes, indeed... could...! I would like to whet your appetite a bit though...
For me, the Intense is a gourmand cuddler, made for cooler temperatures, that completely does without berries and opaque floral notes.
At the opening, a bunch of caramel candies rushes at you. Not the hard ones, thankfully, but the buttery soft ones that barely in the air release their enchanting scent. Soon I notice the wood note coming through, which takes a bit of the sweetness away from the caramel overload, although I am more reminded of the taste that takes hold of you after too much consumption. Just before you really have had enough. The wood duo skillfully catches that. I perceive the rose as a subtle accessory on the side, while the musk comes across as a full-bodied and very fine coulis. Lacoste pour Femme Intense is a gourmand of a scent, a sweetheart as it should be, and a worse seducer than Casanova ever was.
For me, this Intense could be a bit more intense, it soon becomes a bit subdued, as if it doesn't dare to spread its irresistible charm. And maybe it's just because I don't completely drench myself in it. The longevity is decent, and when you think the candies are all gone, a few unexpected ones pop up here and there. Only that they don't have quite as much flavor as the first ones. All in all, a nice and delicious alternative to the original, which itself is more about strong floral notes.
The color of the Intense bottle already makes your mouth water in anticipation.
And here it definitely holds true: "What you see is what you get"!

Light gourmand hits the mark...
It is clearly recognizable as the Pour - Femme - DNA, but without the slightly scratchy note. I also thought that the caramel would come through more distinctly, more noticeably - but for my nose, not really. However, it is exactly what I imagined: a luxurious body cream. Sweet, yes, when you know that caramel is in it, you can smell it. However, it’s not an overwhelming, kitschy sweetness. Rather, it’s a high-quality, mature sweetness. Caramel also has a somewhat more aromatic, bitter ("roasted") scent than cotton candy.
The fragrance also somewhat reminds me of Sensuous Eau de Parfum - it smells a bit like perfumed wood.

I can actually imagine it well in the evening, at a summer party. Like being smeared with a delicate coconut/caramel/vanilla body lotion (or even sunscreen) - elegant and tempting, without being cloying (caution, if you don’t overspray at around 30 degrees).

It is not weak, but also not strong; I would say it’s pleasantly noticeable, a medium level :)

All in all, a really beautiful fragrance; I love it, I already love the original. Here you get something nice for little money.

Feel-Good Fragrance for the Office
I recently got to know it, and it was love at first sniff. Unfortunately, it seems to be a love with an expiration date.
But let me start from the beginning...

I was looking for a feel-good office fragrance. A short longevity doesn't bother me either. I really enjoy catching a whiff of perfume by chance again. For example, when I wrap my scarf around me and a gentle, cozy scent greets me. Mmm!

While browsing in the perfume shop, I tried this one and the "regular" Pour Femme. I couldn't stop sniffing "Pour Femme Intense." Normally, I patiently wait to see how the scent develops on my skin before buying a perfume, but I bought this one immediately and haven't regretted it. The scent is light and fresh, not too sweet, pleasantly cozy-vanilla. The "regular" one is a bit too scratchy for me; I don't find that with the "Intense." For me, it's definitely the nicer version!

I then searched online for the fragrance and couldn't find it anywhere. Contacted Lacoste customer service; response: production has been discontinued. What a shame!

I went out again and now have three bottles of it at home. Until these are used up, I will probably continue my search for another feel-good office fragrance...

Pour Femme Intense, I already miss you! ... Can't you stay after all?!

The original has matured. It gained more sensuality, a hint of subtle eroticism, and a touch more confidence. Great scent!

Similar to the original, but "darker" with more depth and creaminess. Longevity and sillage are better. I think I'll give it a home.

The mother is just the stepmother. Very buttery-creamy light gourmand, only a little rose, wood, and caramel set the tone, warm and subtle.

Meltingly soft, creamy-gourmand, silky smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness. I'm in love!

The "fresh-clean" was swapped for "delicious." For me, it's the winter version of the original. Creamy and long-lasting, close to the skin.

It's like taking the old Pour Femme,
mixing in a lot of cream & gradually
sprinkling in Teint de Neige powder
body lotion with a delicious effect.

In the background, I recognize the original version, but the addition of sweet caramel makes the scent softer and more sensual, well done!

Caramel meets white flowers. Never overpowering, creates a flattering aura, and my nose keeps wandering back to my wrist... Addictive.

A little less caramel and it would have been nice too... unfortunately, it's too candy-like because of that...
