Sweet, gentle, comforting
This is a follow up on my statement after spending more time with this fragrance. It's quickly become one of my favorite scents and feel I had to give it more justice.
I stand by most of what I said; "Vanilla skin; It's gently sweet, milky, and very natural," EXCEPT, I had said that I don't get the top notes and that "there's not much to say." Having worn it a few times now, I certainly "get" it more. There is a slight fruityness and freshness that shines through, making it a bit more interesting and bright than just a "slightly sweet vanilla skin scent."
It may be performing differently based on temperature differences and how clean my skin is. I'd be interested to see how the EDP differs in experience from the fragrance oil. But, I absolutely adore this scent in it's oil form. Still a very mellow and personal fragrance, which is perfect for when you'd want to smell more low-key, or for relaxing at home/wearing to bed.
