Great classic !
I had it when it was released (I was a teenager) and always returned to it.
It begins with lavender, fruity and floral notes, patchouli, with a background of vanilla, amber and cedar. Then the opening notes slowly decrease and the background of vanilla-amber-cedar take center stage. It's soft and sweet but not too much. Rather unisexe.
To me it's a marvellous classical aromatic woody, very well-balanced. The sillage and longevity are very good with the EDP version, much less with the EDT.
It's the mainstay of my small collection. Lalique make other interesting fragrances you can try such as Encre Noire. But this one is my favorite.
