Italian Lemon Shower, perhaps a bit boring in performance
When you have found your personal lemon fireworks, sometimes even old-school lemon scents can no longer really blow you away. Cappellusman's blind test No. 11 was this aged Lancetti fragrance, which reminded me very much of "Capucci" in its very classic-fresh style.
"L'homme" is now a naturally styled Italian from the 70s/80s, lots of lemon, a bit of bergamot, a good nudge of basil, a hint of lavender, and later some cedar.
You might enjoy the scent; it is well-suited for everyday work, but somehow I can't quite like something about it. Perhaps the fragrance is not contoured enough for me? The lemon is somewhat roughly thrown into your lap and garnished with greenish aromas, but the whole thing seems a bit blurry to me.
Decently made stuff, but lacking the refined or elegantly composed qualities of "Pour Monsieur," "Eau Sauvage," or Armani's "Eau pour homme."
