The aldehydes drive the floral development of rose and ylang-ylang, while oak moss adds the right depth for a chypre. Unfortunately, it has always been seen as the little sister of Chanel No. 5 for historical and marketing reasons, but I think that's deeply unfair. I'm glad you liked it!
