Very helpful Review
8Scent 10Longevity 9Sillage 10Bottle 10Pricing

It’s no where NEAR as “LOUD” as the influencers say…

…but it is potent. The YouTubers all act like this stuff is a knockout explosion, but it’s a slow growing, airy loudness that grows in heat.

When I first sprayed it (5 sprays), I was almost disappointed, but I could smell the foundations on my skin. When I went outside into the 90 degree heat is when the volume started turning up.

It is unlike anything else I have smelled. I am interested in Megamare, and see how close people say this is, so I grabbed it to see if I would like it before a blind buy. I was born and raised in Hawaii, and spent over 20 years surfing and going to the beach. I like the oceanic frags like Bvlgari’s Aqva line. I read the reviews on this and was anxiously awaiting how the formula plays out.

I like it a lot. I’m definitely going to buy Megamare because people say it’s “saltier” than this. This gives a very SLIGHT vibe of oceanic winds, and that’s why I want to try the “saltier” Megamare. It gives a sour/sweet vibe as well. The projection and silage ARE there; it’s just a very AIRY projection. It’s not going to “choke” anyone out. If you’re in a cooler air conditioned environment, it won’t be offending anyone at all. It will be detectable, just “something in the air” vibes. When you’re in the heat, it gives off a “thicker” profile, and resonates a bit louder. The bubble is an easy 5ft+ radius, and the scent trail lingers long. Longevity is fantastic as well, just as they all say. A light fruitiness on a hot summer day in paradise. That’s my description.

I paid $40 for 50ml, and I’m not complaining at all. Great buy. I’m going to order the OG to see what it’s all about with higher quality ingredients.

UPDATE: I now have Megamare, and have tried them both enough to compare the 2. Honestly, only fragrance junkies will be able to detect the difference. Atlas is like a reprinted version of a comic book. It all passes the grade, but the ones who absolutely LOVE the original will spot the fine differences.

Atlas is the paperback version of the Megamare hardcover. YES Megamare is higher quality, and you can tell in a side by side comparison, easily. It’s thicker, fuller, saltier. More “texture” to the scent. The thing is, not many people have smelled the OG, and Atlas pulls it off well enough to work nicely. Even people who know about it and have tried it will really have to work to find the difference. The decision is yours to make.

Five sprays?! Wow, that's insane. One full spray lasts 20+ hours on my skin, and it projects for about 9 hours.
Anyway, if you like Atlas, Megamare is a must-try. Atlas is Megamare minus the seaweed, marine life, and funkiness. In that sense it's simpler and easier to wear: a bright, salty-sweet ambroxan bomb that dries down into something resembling DG Light Blue Intense.
Megamare, however, is much more of a narrative fragrance. It evolves in distinct stages of the ocean over the course of its very long life. Difficult to describe; best experienced. In the world of aquatic niche fragrances, here's nothing else like it on the market

THANKS FOR THE REPLY! I definitely AM going to grab Megamare. (I only shot Atlas more because it’s so “airy” on my skin).
Appreciate the advice my friend! Cheers!
