The depth of the ocean
Lattafa Atlas is a very potent aquatic-salty fragrance.
If you're into that kind of thing, you've come to the right place. It is often compared to Megamare and I must confess that I have never had Megamare under my nose in my life.
So I can't comment on this comparison.
However, I was able to identify certain parallels with another fragrance, Lorenzo Pazzaglia Black Sea.
Like the Black Sea, we have this aquatic-salty sea bomb that comes across as slightly mystical. I suspect it will be similar with Megamare. I know someone who once associated the Megamare with the movie character "Aquaman" and yes, I can actually say the same about the Atlas. That could actually fit.
In addition to the aquatic-salty impressions, there is something spicy in my nose. The longer the fragrance lies on my skin, the more I can smell this ambery oakmoss base. It becomes slightly sweet, warm and almost gives you the feeling of also perceiving resinous components.
This dark, mystical feeling is still there for me and the aquatic, salty notes that make up this fragrance are of course still present, albeit slightly toned down and no longer quite as "fresh".
I don't really need to say much about the performance.
The thing rattles me away and that even with the first application with just one spray!!!
I repeat 1x sprayed.
Here 1-3 sprays are really enough, but three is actually already too much. This fragrance fills rooms and is even perceived at a distance.
A small example:
I was in the bedroom and my girlfriend was in the living room.
I sprayed 1x very discreetly on my skin. After about a minute, my girlfriend calls over to see if I've applied any perfume because she suddenly notices something strong in the air.
There's not much more to say.
This thing is a beast.
