Aquatic-Fruity Shaving Foam
After being really impressed by the golden twin from Confidential, I took the plunge and bought this one blind as well.
The Platinum is a true clean man’s scent, which initially smells very fresh and lemony, and over time develops a more masculine twist that can be well compared to the typical scent of shaving foam.
Personally, I also detect a subtle, underlying sweet/fruity note and woody elements that give the perfume a certain something and take away its dullness.
The Confidential Platinum definitely falls into the crowd-pleaser category, with which you won't step on anyone's toes.
On the other hand, it is also not an extravagant scent that reinvents the wheel.
Rather, it’s a perfume that allows for comparisons to other fragrances and reminds me personally of a mix of Chanel AHS, Invictus, and Mont Blanc Explorer.
The longevity is adequate, perceivable on clothing and skin for about 5-6 hours, but after about 3 hours, the sillage is noticeably weaker.
For the price, it’s still more than okay!
