If you know what the original smells like, you’ll generally know what to expect in terms of scent, longevity, sillage, and dry down.
However, I do feel they achieved their goal with making this the more masculine version, I’m getting this strong smoky, almost rubbery note that makes me enjoy this way less than the original (as someone who prefers feminine fragrances). It becomes more pronounced to me the more times I try this fragrance. But the scent still retains that spice.
The dry down is also slightly less sweet, but mostly the same. I’d say if you found the original too sugary, this would be the better choice.
