Oud for Glory Lattafa / لطافة

I got the fragrance as a blind buy.
It was praised everywhere and I didn't see a big risk at the price So I ordered the bottle first.

I thought to myself "It'll be fine for the winter, you can layer if necessary"

It arrived, I tore open the pack and sprayed it in the air a few times.

In the air, the fragrance is very balanced. pleasant spiciness with an underlying perceptible sweetness.
I thought to myself "Jackpot. That's it!"

So I sprayed it on the next day for work.
Then came the disillusionment.
Far too spicy. Pungent nutmeg and saffron and no sweetness at all.
Also no longer so balanced.

So first layered with Forever Love because there was no time to wash and change.
Then showered straight after work and washed everything off.

Either it's too strong or I'm too weak! Maybe it still needs to mature.
My Maahir Legacy also had to develop first.
I will test it again in a few weeks' time.
