Hot lemon with honey but in spring
I had previously heard from Victoria that it smells sweet and gourmand like lemon cake. I imagined something along the lines of the Balea "Zuckerschnute" products from the 2010s or Super Milk from Lush.
Now that I've tested my sample on my skin a few times, I can say that for me it goes in a slightly different direction than expected.
At the beginning, I perceive juicy lemon, but also the presence of honey, although this is not listed in the fragrance notes. The association is a cup of hot lemon with honey, which I stir with a spoon and the steam rises to my nose. I don't notice the cake at first. Only later, when the scent becomes more vanilla, do I get a hint of a cake that was baked a few hours ago, a little further away.
In my opinion, the fragrance is rather quiet from the start, which is why I have to dose it higher. But then I can smell it for 6-7 hours. However, it stays with me rather than radiating for miles. I can imagine using it when I want to smell nice, but don't want to annoy anyone.
I would describe the fragrance overall as gourmand, but not in that "cake" way, but a little more subtle. Even though it reminds me of hot lemon with honey, it brings me a spring-like and sunny mood and not a cold in winter or something like that. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the similarity to Devotion/Lira, as I haven't had it under my nose yet.
The price is very good and I also think the bottle is pretty. I really like it now for spring!

My goodness, I've had Victoria since yesterday and I'm more than thrilled. I know the scent from somewhere and have been racking my brain since yesterday. And now I read your post and it makes me go bämmmmm - yes, it's Zuckerschnute from back then. Thank you so much 💕

Oh yes, that was nice 🤗

Thank you very much! So if it didn't smell so doughy it would even be an option for me although I have devotion.I find it too sticky at high temperatures.
