Iltis in Cleopatra's Milk Bath

Thanks to a travel package, I too have had the pleasure of testing three fragrances from the brand Le Cherche Midi. At this point, I would like to thank FranFan for this opportunity.

The other two fragrances did not really impress me; I found them rather nice but nothing special.

However, the 28 left a lasting impression, albeit not a particularly positive one.

The pyramid already suggests that this is a more experimental scent, and components like milk or gunpowder further hint that it might be synthetic.

28 opens the olfactory journey with a strangely animalistic condensed milk accord. Even on the second test, I imagine a weasel in Cleopatra's milk bath, and I avoid sniffing the sprayed area for a while.

The strange condensed milk accord remains dominant and is then enriched over time with a musty, powdery component that somewhat softens the animalistic aspect, but not enough to make the scent more pleasant.

With the base, soapy incense comes through, giving the fragrance another twist, though not really for the better.
The mixture of soapy incense, traces of condensed milk, and leathery animalistic undertones is still unusual, but for my olfactory sensibility, it remains not truly wearable.

I couldn't identify pear and gunpowder, or did their mixture ultimately create the strange animalistic note? Who can say.

28 is not an everyday scent, and although I do not like it, I do not regret having tested it. Rather, once again, thanks to Parfumo, my olfactory experience horizon has been expanded.

Honestly: this one isn't worse than Explosions d'Émotions for my nose either. :D Huge praise for your bravery in testing it.

I’m happy to skip any kind of broadening of horizons. But I’ll award you a martyr's medal for that! ; o)

Animalistic-sounding condensed milk accord? Powdery and musty? It seems there's truly no lack of creativity at LCM, but I think your test is enough for me to decide... that I don't need to try it. Thanks for testing!!

We probably won't get to know each other, me and 28.

Oh dear, that doesn't sound good... On the other hand, the ingredients remind me of one of the newer L'Artisans from the series of exploding emotions, so I can't leave this comment without some curiosity, ;-).

Oh, I don't like the scent either, so I'm taking it easy ;) Not everything has to please everyone... and yes, it really does go the route of Sécrétions... in terms of the percentages :p

Gunpowder and milk already raise skepticism at first glance, given all the "le cherche midi" pressure in this community.

Well, the scent isn't exactly getting great reviews on Parfumo. It could quickly end up at the bottom of the Unisex fragrances...

That doesn’t sound good at all. I’ll stick with my donkey milk... ;)

I do enjoy interesting scent experiences, but my encounters in the synthetic experimentation field, where the motto is "as long as it's original," are more than enough for me. Niche for the sake of being niche really isn't necessary.

You gave it 30%, wow! I could only manage 10%. Condensed milk? Oh well, we should comfort FranFan since not everyone loves the scent. "Expanding the olfactory experience horizon" is worth something too.
