Pure Soap
To slightly qualify the following comment, I would like to preface that I do not get along with strongly soapy scents. The most distinctive feature of Extravagante is its pronounced soapiness, which gives the fragrance an old-fashioned feel and makes it seem a bit outdated to my nose. Despite the absence of bergamot in the top note, I perceive Extravagante as a Chypre. If I didn't know that the fragrance was launched in 2012, I would have classified it as a typical Chypre from the 70s - specifically as a representative of the woodsy-green and very soapy Chypres typical of that era. From the very beginning, the soap dominates, significantly muffling both the floral notes and the bitter, green-woody base, and is far too dominant for me. However, lovers of clean scents that remind one of soap bars like Rexona or Lux will surely appreciate Extravagante.
