A Touch of Nothing...
Currently, I am testing some dupes in the budget segment. The "brand" Bellini from Lidl, for the ridiculous price of 4.99 euros, has surprisingly caught my attention very positively on two occasions. I can wholeheartedly recommend the "Dior Sauvage" and "Boss Bottled" dupes as blind buys. I dare say that both come remarkably close to their respective originals and also have good longevity. However, one can always test the scents in any Lidl beforehand... (I have already given statements about both fragrances).
The "Homme Sport" (also from Bellini "made in Germany") has hardly been discussed here so far. So here are a few more words...
I don't think I need to say much about the great role model "Chanel Allure Homme Sport." It is one of the fragrances that I truly appreciate.
With the Bellini dupe, the fragrance direction and its resemblance to the original cannot be denied. The first impression is quite pleasant. I initially thought: This is definitely acceptable. The typical citrusy fresh note. And it doesn't hit you with the alcohol greeting flag that you know from some La Rive dupes.
But one should not praise the day before the evening. And the Homme Sport definitely does not experience that with the first dose. Unfortunately, we are only talking about a mild breeze here. For my nose, the scent was no longer perceivable after a short time.
I use the saying with some twins: At arm's length, you wouldn't notice any difference from the original. I will boldly claim: Not here either, because you can't smell it from a distance after a short time...
It may be that some people with a more virgin nose ;-) see it differently. Ultimately, however, one must conclude: The Bellini Homme Sport has a longevity on the level of an Eau de Cologne.
The good thing: The bottle is really very compact despite its 75 ml content. You can easily slip it into your pants or jacket pocket and reapply regularly...;-) If that’s not too much trouble for you: Just do it. With just 4.99 euros, you won't be burning any money.
I will "power through" the bottle (as the scent is quite pleasant), but I will continue to rely on the original and Missoni Wave in the future.
