Camellias are not camomiles!
Hello! :)
Today I come to the fragrance Eau Sensorielle from Lierac. Hmm... somehow this brand only seems to have one perfume?! But: After a little internet research I saw that it is more about a cosmetics brand.

So, now you can laugh a little bit if the brand should be very famous. I'm just not sure if I've heard of Lierac before or seen it in stores, or not :D
It seems very familiar to me, because I noticed it in the shops for sure, but as I said, I am not sure :D Even though I often presented women's fragrances here, that doesn't mean that I have to be familiar with cosmetics or many women's care products, after all I don't use anything like... um... I don't know, something like "Lierac - Silky Cream and Eye Care" or "Lierac - Supra Radiance Gel Eye Serum for More Radiance" or "Lierac - Nourishing Lip Balm, Upholstering with Rosé Gloss Effect"... and what in the world means Upholstering Lips??

And it is blatant that the product range probably comprises more than 100 products... that is SO complicated! No one can see through that, and you ladies can't see through it either, can you? Anyway, I'm glad that as a guy I can get by with far less care products, especially with much simpler descriptions of the products. Hand cream, body cream, moisturizer for the face and a lip balm (but WITHOUT rosé gloss effect!!) are enough for me :DD

Anyway, I'm coming to the description of the fragrance!

The fragrance:
The fragrance starts off wonderfully sweet and soft as well as flowery and is therefore beautiful and sexy ladylike. I smell mainly jasmine and osmanthus, because these flowers often smell very sweet, so that I assume that I just perceive these two flowers here, but especially the jasmine. The fragrance is also quite creamy. At first I thought that I had recognized the camomiles, well, because of a certain resemblance to camomile cream, aaabut: There are camellias in the fragrance pyramid! And I have no idea how camellias smell like that, so I can't tell if I smell those flowers or not :D You know, I don't have it that way with plants... but the scent is creamy nevertheless :D
A little later, other sweet scents are added, such as amber, which is good to smell, and vanilla, which is even better to smell. Although there are so many sweet scents here now, the scent is of course very sweet, but still not overwhelmingly sticky, papery sweet, and I think that's good!
Again later most of the scents mix, so that you can best smell vanilla (and powdery notes), jasmine and some amber in the scent cloud. In addition, there are beautiful, warm woods, which, however, cannot really be identified either, but cedar wood is not. After about five to six hours, the fragrance is really weak and even the vanilla doesn't really radiate anymore. In the background you can still smell heavy flowery scents in the later base, which also seem a little sultry. I don't like this kind of scent very much, but without this heavy scent the scent would have gone away a few hours before.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is still quite good at the beginning, because the sweet notes radiate beautifully, but soon the charisma decreases clearly. In the next few hours it gets weaker quite quickly and finally after four to six hours it is quite close to the body, so that one would have to be more close to the body to be able to smell the scent of one of them. The shelf life is slightly longer than eight hours, but I would say that after four to six hours the fragrance has already arrived at the end, as it then becomes quite body-hugging.

The bottle:
The bottle is simply rectangular, with a slightly thicker base, slightly convex inside. It is filled with a golden-yellow scented liquid. The lid is also gold-plated and cylindrical. All in all quite simple, but still okay, well, a bit boring, but he is a little bit.

Hm, I think eau sensory smells good. He's very feminine, he's sexy and I think he comes across well. He could have been a little stronger and more durable, but well. Due to its weak sillage, it can be used as a cuddly scent (or of course for the day), because it is too weak to go out.

For all those who do not like sweet scents, this fragrance is absolutely not suitable, since it smells very sweet for a while at the beginning, before it becomes more flowery. But for those who like sweet scents, this is a beautiful fragrance with other scents such as woods and creamy and powdery properties that are very gentle.
Since the fragrance is not overwhelming despite the many sweet notes, it is suitable both for warm days (but best spring) and cooler days (here best autumn).

It might be worth trying if you're not looking for a Sillage cracker, but want something "quieter, more relaxed". Apart from the weak Sillage my further point of criticism would be that, how could it be otherwise, it resembles many sweet scents very much, especially at the beginning. If you already have such scents (even if they should all smell a bit different in their own way), then you really don't need this scent.

Soo... I hope you don't laugh too much about my knowledge of cosmetics... or botany :D Have a nice evening and see you then!
