Lovely Lovers
A fresh, bold, modern green scent that is pleasant and uplifting. I do perceive a bit of the "pickle" accord that is mentioned, it's a little odd at first but it quickly subsides into a very bright and sparkly wood. At first sniff, I can see how someone would compare it to Santal 33, but after getting used to it, it's definitely different. It's less woody and more citrusy but still very balanced, while Santal 33 is a lot more wood forward.
Overall, I quite enjoy it. It's extremely unoffensive, and very versatile. Leans ever-so-slightly feminine, but as a man I still can rock it. It's not quite as god-tier as some of the iconic LV scents, but it's certainly a worthy entry. It doesn't last very long, however. It's not something I would buy a whole bottle of but I'm enjoying the decant I have and would consider getting another decant sometime.
