Cherry-like, but not cloyingly sweet
Sweet things are not exactly figure-friendly at Easter, so it was discussed between my adult daughter and me that there wouldn't be any big treats. It's not Christmas, and unfortunately, she has long outgrown the age where a plush toy delighted her heart. Where has the time gone?
Now, instead of chocolate eggs, there are nice fragrances in the Easter nest. After the good experiences with Dreamy Romance, I took a chance on a blind buy. The opening is very fresh and fruity with grapefruit, cherry, and a hint of blackcurrant. Cherry and grapefruit balance each other for a long time before the cherry takes the lead. But it is by no means sticky sweet; rather, it is softened. Violet, cherry blossom, and freesia join in, but they do not dominate. All in all, it's a fresh cherry-like scent. The dry down is very successful with raspberry and sandalwood. I did not detect any musk.
All in all, a cheerfully sweet yet fresh fragrance, perfect for spring and summer. It does not smell cheap, as it lacks the often sharp opening of alcohol. Suitable not only for young ladies but for every age group. Longevity for me is perfectly fine at 4 hours.
