I think so too. A 7.5 is often a catch-all for fragrances that I find very beautiful but just don’t work on me, or for scents that resonate with me in some way even though they’re not quite perfect. This one falls into the former category.
*Herb-spicy opening with a slightly woody note. Floral elements brighten up the scent a bit and elevate it to a higher key. My favorite part in the middle: leather, clove, and patchouli create an exciting connection. It gets a little dirty in a completely effortless way. Musk and oakmoss successfully anchor the scent in the base.
A time-travel character without being outdated, taking us back to when men only cried in the cellar and smelled clean and herbaceous instead of overly fresh and blue ;)
(I'd love to have the first in the living room, but I'm biased towards the herbaceous for the latter)
Delightfully bulky & foreign on my skin and still more than worth a sniff.
