give it a few minutes...
Starts of strong, and softens to a comforting, clean, uncular 80's masculine. Full of notes and no slouch. Shaving cream vibes for sure. Great longevity and worth looking into. Really enjoyed everything after the very opening. Won't buy a full bottle personally, but glad to have a miniature. I really like the bottle design as well.

And now a short comment.

Same old story: small perfumery, now closed, with a penchant for Italian designers (Basile, Balestra, Coveri, Krizia, Missoni, and Soprani). Since I owned a pair of sunglasses by Luciano Soprani, I naturally had to buy the fragrance as well. That was 25 years ago.

25 years later:
Although Soprani Uomo is still produced by Eurocosmesi, one must possess an extreme detective instinct even in Italy to uncover this gem.
A spring-like citrus breeze in Limone sul Garda (don’t worry, I know it’s Limes and not Limone, although there have always been citrus plantations there) carries you through lavender and flower gardens to the upper Adriatic, where a herbaceous breeze runs through your hair (that was still possible for me many years ago; oggi solo un po capelli) to then drop you off in the mossy coniferous forests of Emilia Romagna, concluding your Italian journey after eight to nine hours. Sport by Paco Rabanne sends its regards, and anyone who enjoys Lacoste Original should definitely test Soprani Uomo. Everyday suitability is top-notch!
The Italian fragrance expert Franco, aka Cappellusman, might describe it more aptly, but ho finito. I’m done!

If you need well done conventional classic fougere with lavender, pine, spices, geranium and moss, Soprani will meet your expectations.

Complex fougère from 1988, very typical of its time. Woody, floral, spicy. Leather and moss refined.
Beautifully enveloping. *

A floral-aromatic fougère with leather. I would even wear this, even though it's not really my style. Spicy, green, leathery and

Spicy leather with a hint of floral. A base that’s clean without being too pure. My favorite: the little bit of dirt in the heart.*

Fruity-spicy-herbaceous. Yes, this combo was still around back then. Maybe a bit of an acquired taste, but really good.
