Tabac 2015 shows a young refined gentleman

Tabac always had that inconspicuous "old" image for me and was rarely worth a glance, let alone a sniff.

Last year, our son chose Tabac Man in the black frosted bottle as a little surprise for Dad, and everyone really liked it.

And not too long ago, we were strolling through the drugstore again, and I discovered a large display, very nice design, the rose gold immediately caught my eye... and then... what??? Tabac??? WOW!!! I have to test this.

Sniff... Sniff... ohhh... interesting... I moved on, but I couldn't forget it; besides the design and pleasant scent, it was also a really large series that was very appealing.
It's definitely not for those who like the Tabac "Original"; that's a fact, and you can already sense from the design that a young and modern scent is to be expected, which is completely in a different direction.
The fragrance starts off very clear, the fruity notes slightly tart, and the "ozonic accord" (fresh like after it has rained in the forest) is, in my opinion, very finely captured, new to me but incredibly interesting. The heart note blends wonderfully into the picture and makes the gentleman, thanks to calming lavender, a truly well-groomed showcase man, but not too tame as a nice spiciness gradually comes in... not sharp, beautifully mild and fitting to the picture, especially the cardamom works very well here.

And then it becomes beautifully smooth and lets us women fall into the silk-draped heavenly bed with a thousand pillows alongside the gentleman. Gray amber, sandalwood, oh... so wonderfully creamy and slightly woody, and cashmeran with its also woody, yes, musky character makes the "modern" Tabac truly new and seductive for me.
Sure, sillage and longevity could still show a little more, but hey, then there's just one more spray :)
