A big pop of round pear flavor warmed with baking woods
This ultimate scent from TABAC is less spicy hot and fresher than legacy ones, yet it shares the same vibe, and incorporates a fruity note, a sign of updated masculinity. I am really surprised by it. When the first spray hits my neck, I can clearly detect the boozy note of the pear, like a smooth fruit spirit distilled from William's pears.

It opens salty-fresh and fruity, similar to Boss Bottled, but with the pear replacing the apple. Fresh, here there is a hint of a sudden summer rain during a hot day that blends with fruits, slightly sweet tart but not too much. Altough there is an ozonic note in the top, the fragrance is not aquatic at all.

The smell goes quickly from a soft character to a more current and heavier smell. It blossoms to include elements of lavender and violet flowers, blended with mild spicy green cardamom. However it’s the addition of smokey and blokey sandalwood and cashmeran that give it a lingering masculinity in the base of the composition. Still sweet due to the ambergris, but not cloying.

In my opinion this pleasant male but not too intrusive scent is long-lasting. Also not old fashioned, so young fresh and elegant. It is perfect for a business day, as well as a night out and gives its best in this early autumn weather.

Impressive fragrance
I have tried Tabac Original Cologne, Tabac EDT, Tabac Man and now Tabac Gentle Men's Care. I must say I am impressed with the latter. Tabac Man was my favourite but TGMC has overtaken it swiftly. TGMC is more refined, notes are: woody, fruity, floral. Nice and smooth. I read a review which claimed the longevity of TGMC lasted only 2 hours, but for me I sprayed it 4 times on my neck after a shower at 9pm and I could still smell it the next morning at 8am - that's over 10 hours longevity! Amazing value for money especially for presentation, scent, and longevity.

They still exist ...
... the manufacturers who bring a whole product line from A to Z to the market.
Tabac Gentle Men's Care is being heavily criticized here. I don’t find the scent that bad at all, and the overall package of the care products including face gel and sensitive cream as well as the deodorant spray is excellent.
The Eau de Toilette smells fresh, not too intrusive, and impresses with a subtle sweetness. It’s interesting that many reviewers compare this EUR 24.90 fragrance with brands like Boss, Dior, etc. - scents that cost 3 or 4 times as much. Many mention a lack of a fragrance pyramid. But dear people, when I go to the perfumery and spray a scent on my skin, I want to wear it just as it smelled when I decided to buy it. Well, and Gentle Men's Care lasts moderately long and compact.
For a EUR 24.90 fragrance, Gentle Men's Care is surprisingly good. Anyone looking for something better, something more unique, will have to dig deeper into their pockets, and even then, disappointment can occur. Those who want the super scent shouldn’t look for it in the Tabac brand. So I don’t understand the excitement and expectations of some reviewers towards a drugstore brand - sorry!
In summary:
With Tabac Gentle Men's Care, you get 'a little bit' more than what you can expect for EUR 24.90, and in addition, a scent and a care series that is absolutely suitable for everyday use. A good choice for the non-self-satisfied gentleman. Absolutely not suitable for men of the macho type and 'I am something special.'

Tabac 2015 shows a young refined gentleman
Tabac always had that inconspicuous "old" image for me and was rarely worth a glance, let alone a sniff.

Last year, our son chose Tabac Man in the black frosted bottle as a little surprise for Dad, and everyone really liked it.

And not too long ago, we were strolling through the drugstore again, and I discovered a large display, very nice design, the rose gold immediately caught my eye... and then... what??? Tabac??? WOW!!! I have to test this.

Sniff... Sniff... ohhh... interesting... I moved on, but I couldn't forget it; besides the design and pleasant scent, it was also a really large series that was very appealing.
It's definitely not for those who like the Tabac "Original"; that's a fact, and you can already sense from the design that a young and modern scent is to be expected, which is completely in a different direction.
The fragrance starts off very clear, the fruity notes slightly tart, and the "ozonic accord" (fresh like after it has rained in the forest) is, in my opinion, very finely captured, new to me but incredibly interesting. The heart note blends wonderfully into the picture and makes the gentleman, thanks to calming lavender, a truly well-groomed showcase man, but not too tame as a nice spiciness gradually comes in... not sharp, beautifully mild and fitting to the picture, especially the cardamom works very well here.

And then it becomes beautifully smooth and lets us women fall into the silk-draped heavenly bed with a thousand pillows alongside the gentleman. Gray amber, sandalwood, oh... so wonderfully creamy and slightly woody, and cashmeran with its also woody, yes, musky character makes the "modern" Tabac truly new and seductive for me.
Sure, sillage and longevity could still show a little more, but hey, then there's just one more spray :)

The Man - the Forest - the Shower
When I read things like "ozone accord"... I used to laugh my head off at stuff like that, but nowadays it just brings a weary smile to my face. Can you really make money coming up with such fantasy ingredients? I have the wrong job...
But now to the scent: I don't like it. That means it's not something I would buy for my husband. It stings my nose and, in the background, it just smells sweaty to me. Amber? Probably... I could also swear I smell something woody-spicy, but the fragrance pyramid doesn't look like that at all. Hm...
So the conclusion is: a little man stands alone in the forest. And then he goes home. Because he needs a shower and doesn't want to scare the deer away.

absolutely 0815, no big deal. but not worse than Boss and co. many people want to smell exactly like this, so it has its place, right?

It leaves me utterly speechless that such an elaborate relaunch is draped around such a bland, featureless scent (!) ...

Olfactory mixed pickles in woody-fresh. Spicy violet-lavender with a pear-like amber note - lasts well - smells a bit quirky, yet beautiful!

Tagac goes modern. A light, uncomplicated scent, but it's all been done before. Great as a beginner's fragrance for everyday use.

Sweet fruity synth-pop, in my opinion, not quite on par with designer fragrances.

Totally underrated. Not a standout, but it can hold its own against Boss fragrances. As a Tabac, it doesn't stand a chance against the established fresh ones.

I find it successful: First fresh, then woody. Not a phenomenon or a home run, but very solid & recommendable. Price-performance is really okay!

Fresh synthetic scent with little sophistication and a lot of violet. Since most Tabacs are great, this misstep can be forgiven.
