Not bad at all. It goes in the direction of Aventus at the beginning - middle with a lot of moss and resin - vetiver/smoke at the end. S/D at 6 hours is quite okay.

Unfortunately, it's become standard for fragrance manufacturers to measure themselves against cash cows, whether it's Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel, Aventus, Tuscan Leather, or Baccarat Rouge 540. At this point, every scent seems like a deliberate copy. I'm just glad that the One Million hype has died down, but at the same time, it's bittersweet that even the original One Million doesn't smell the same as it did in 2008...

I completely agree with you. As mentioned, Tabac Wild Ride really captures the spirit of the perfume world today. Just like in the '90s when countless fragrances tried to replicate the essence of CK One. This doesn't make Tabac any worse; on the contrary. For the price and presentation, it's really good. You definitely can't go wrong with this one.

Aventus direction?
No, sorry... but in my opinion, this scent has nothing to do with Aventus at all.

I see it a bit differently. For me, the apple here doesn't really smell like apple. That was my first association. However, the scent doesn't do anything wrong or bad otherwise. As often said, it's just a fragrance of this time, really captures the zeitgeist well. With the price and the H/S, it's a good buy.
Some smell a fruity pineapple here, some don't. The fruit and the resin in the heart note just remind me of Aventus. Maybe I'm just a bit differently conditioned ;)

No resemblance at all to the Creed bestseller. Nowadays, fruity notes are enough to make such a comparison.

Is it really such a standard phrase here on Parfumo now... going in the direction of Aventus... terrible.
