The minty floral leaves of shiso warmed a nutty earthy mushroom and underneath was soft patchouli liqueur, sharp grasses sprouting in it. Munro's eyes glazed over, so much to discover here, sandalwood melting to cream, moo-hoo splint, edgy and dry, all of it blurring into sweet sludge of bark mulch and earth in the ethereal glow of fireflies that slowly dimmed.
