OUD MARACUJÁ (MAISON CRIVELLI)
Oud Maracujá from Maison Crivelli French House of Haute Luxury Niche Perfumery is a Unisex Extrait De Parfum Fruity Woody Resinous Leather. This fragrance launched in 2023; and the nose behind this fragrance is Jordi Fernández.
Perfume has a delicious fruity outing, with emphasis on a passion fruit that, although artificial, is quite photorealistic, with its well-known contradictory tropical facet: sour and sweet at the same time. A saffron already brings the nuance of leather... a molasses and sweet leather by this juicy passion fruit. A delicate very discreet rose gives a brief appearance in the fragrance. An easy perfume to please.
It doesn't take long for my favorite ingredients to arrive, balsamic resins, and here in this composition a very honest, quality synthetic oud without difficulty or challenge. An 'oud that reinforces the leathery character of this creation that is centered on leather; it would be more appropriate if it was called 'Leather Maracuja'.
A great labdanum brings a dark resinous aspect and the woody reinforcement of akigalawood which, like cypriol, is widely used in the formation of the 'oud accord in perfumery. An ambery accord of benzoin and vanilla permeates the fragrance throughout evolution.
