Masterpiece or More money than Taste?
Its a masterpiece but I also understand the hate this one gets
Its a great introduction to niche. Its woody, floral, earthy sweet saffron. Very origional when it came out and was my first intro to niche and I loved it back then.
But now coming back later after smelling many other scents I noticed it has this medicinal synthetic feel to it. Its also strong, worn by others and the DNA has been cloned to heaven. So its constantly shoved your face
I feel like only a successful person who has money but isn't into super into fragrances would wear this. Like they went online searched up: “most popular expensive fragrances” and clicked add to cart. More money than taste. Cuz there’s better, more original stuff nowadays and tons of clones of Baccarat rouge
But it is one of the most popular and cloned fragrances of all time for a reason. Its a masterpiece in its own way. But I cant help but feel it hasn't held up for me. Just my 2 cents that i feel others might feel
