There are some fragrances that you never forget. The Oud Satin Mood Eau de Parfum is just such a fragrance. It is recognizable although at first glance it has a similar sweet sillage to other classic gourmand or sweet fragrances.
The fragrance is not particularly varied. Top, heart and base notes have little in common in terms of their composition. It is clear from the first whiff that a sweet and sticky rose is at work here, which does not play against oud or other spicy notes. Quite the opposite. With vanilla and benzoin, the sweetness is really emphasized and intensified. Even after an hour, this sweet aura remains and it simply becomes a little softer but not varied.
The environment perceives the rose much more pleasantly. It is a sweet aura that surrounds you, but by no means a sticky or oppressive one. At least I haven't been given this feedback yet and even when other people wore the fragrance, I couldn't perceive it.
The sillage and longevity are brutal. The extrait (Oud Satin Mood Extrait de Parfum ) is even stronger, but even the EdP concentration is perceptible all day after two sprays.
The price is completely reasonable for such a perfume and the MfK bottles deliver what they promise.
