Unfortunately not a part of me
I first wrote a statement, but would like to expand on my opinion in a review.
Unfortunately, I find APOM irrelevant. It is much "thinner" and old-fashioned compared to the original version of APOM Homme. It lacks any sparkle and distinctiveness. Even without the comparison to the original version of APOM Homme, the fragrance would not receive a better rating from me. For me, it's a boring, dusty little wood with an unfashionable interpretation of O-flower. It definitely hurts that it lacks the amber and thus the certain warmth that APOM Homme gives me. Lavender only comes to me immediately when I spray it on and is not worth mentioning in my opinion. A certain spiciness, however, remains constant.
I cannot make a comparison with APOM Femme as I have never tested it. I imagine the current unisex APOM more on a (more mature) woman than on a young girl. mMn, overall, feminine direction.
I still have a bit of the original and after that I'm left with the memory.

I can also recognize differences to the original. However, these are so marginal that I could not obviously describe the old version as better or more masculine. "Old-fashioned" is a description that, in my view, has also regularly been used to describe the old fragrance. So I don't see any great development there. I find it slightly spicier, which makes it a little more physical, especially at the beginning. I can't help but get the impression that the tiresome automatism "old version = better" plays a role here again, which can be found again and again in the perfume community. Of course, this should not detract from your personal experience with the fragrance, I enjoyed reading the review!

Find the differences are already quite large to the #apom Homme and can not be a substitute ... unfortunately very feminine the new ...

"P.S.: My parents are both over 70 and think it's old-fashioned. My mom slipped out a: Buahhhh" - I'm old and like that :D I think it's the neroli, which always gives such a 4711 vibe, and that's why you find it old-fashioned. I like it, but I don't have to have it either.

I agree 100% with your comment. A fragrance for the mature lady. I don't understand how it can be classified as unisex.

It's a shame that this is the case. But I had prepared myself beforehand and wasn't expecting to be too pleased with the fragrance. Nevertheless, I had hoped to be pleasantly surprised.

And off the watch list... :(

First review, thank you! I rather expected the similarity to "APOM Femme" (and hoped it wasn't quite similar: APOM Femme had too much ylang-ylang for me) How is it here? And: is labdanum noticeable?

From your description, it sounds more like the old ladies version.

Even at 60, I feel too young for this fragrance.

Maybe then the ladies will at least have a reason to be happy :)

I've noticed with some LVMH fragrances that they are made worse. Is it the margin? New IFRA regulation? No idea, but it's annoying.

I was really super disappointed too... I was expecting something completely different.

You were even more gracious with your rating ;)
