Masculin Pluriel by MFK - a modern master of its craft
Here, "craft" refers to the fougère accord. It is modern because masculin Pluriel does without the classic oak moss that originally characterizes this wonderful accord.
It represents a (if not the) modern interpretation of the fougère and primarily reminds one of a classic barbershop scent due to its strongly pronounced lavender note. The masculin Pluriel is a feel-good fragrance that never screams directly in your face to impose its scent molecules. It is kept rather fresh - not citrusy summer-fresh in the sense of classic freshies, but rather slightly spicy and a bit green.
The fragrance is not heavy or overwhelming, but envelops the wearer in a beautiful, soft, protective, and light cocoon. At the same time, a certain sovereignty and sense of security spreads…
From the cocoon - initially still strongly shaped by the lavender, which is rounded off by the freshness of grapefruit in the top note - a wonderful scent develops. The lavender is omnipresent and is increasingly supported by cedarwood and vetiver as the fragrance evolves. The leather is also always active in the background and never completely hides away. From the interplay of these components (cedarwood, vetiver, lavender, leather) emerges a wonderful butterfly that confidently flies out into the great wide world - protected by its "cocoon," the Masculin Pluriel.
The masculin Pluriel embodies a fragrance that is well-received everywhere and never rubs anyone the wrong way.
A timeless yet modern companion that works almost always; I can particularly imagine wearing it in the office/business and enjoy wearing it there.
It would also be great for meditating or reading a good book during the cold season in front of the Swedish stove.
Longevity and sillage are decent and really good for an Eau de Toilette.
The price is also - for an MFK - still acceptable for me.
After all, the fragrance is very elegant, precisely tuned, and of extremely high quality.
In this sense:
Thank you very much for your attention - I have the honor,
your Pfleddinho

It doesn't shout at you, it wraps you up - you've nailed it perfectly. You don't stand out much, but more in a positive way than a negative one, just no sharp edges. Well written, enjoyed reading it -> Trophy!
