Not inventing the wheel here

So, I like MFK and the nose behind it is a very professional and talented perfumer. Since the house was bought by LV, I am sure that some of the formulas have been changed, obviously to save money and increase the prices.

Masculin Pluriel is a nice scent for gentlemen, no matter how many times they will change the formula (if they do). It does start with a beautiful, realistic lavender and then it gets a nice cedar backbone to which will stay, smelling like out of a barbershop with a clean shave.

For a young nose, this might be a bit complicated to like at the first sniff .. it is having a lost masculinity to it, if I can say so. The usual lover of One Million or Sauvage, will not get best friends with M P if you ask me. But if you like classic, gentleman´s scents .. then this is one you should not miss.

Underrated cold laveder.

Today I bought it after a long time being in my wishlist.
Its magnificently in top fougere scents which still is underrated and happy about that cuz whatever get through mainstream lose its glory and uniqueness as well as undergoing reformulation.
Its completely masculine modern barbershop
Sharp lavender kinda metalic feell but not a metalic scent.leather a and vetiver gives it a cold summery vibes.its suited for day and night of summer and fall days.

Well done, but...

Some of you having been around fragrances for any period of time will find this very familiar although obviously done well, not cheap, smells good. Personally, I feel like it smells like 5+ different things that I already have. For some, though, if this is your initial stage of getting into fragrances, and you happened upon this, you may be quite pleased over the mature, masculine, clean fragrance that you are smelling.

It certainly is rounded, and has depth, and I can't knock it. I think you need to sample it for yourself. It's understated, it's a man that says thank you when he doesn't have to, it smells put together. The lavender may be a little better than normally used lavender? It's not a lavender bomb, but that's the note you get introduced to as the main character.
