Anyone expecting a "cheaply" made fragrance here has greatly underestimated the company Marbert. They create wonderful scents. This one is a prime example. The simple bottle conceals a liquid content that is truly remarkable.
After a brief citrus phase at the beginning, Marbert Man really gets going. Spiced flowers of the more robust kind, underpinned by "coniferous" notes, in this case cedar and juniper, it really picks up momentum. An evening, damp meadow atmosphere emerges. The forest is within scent and sight. All sorts of insects are still buzzing around before the night settles over the landscape.
You can hardly see anything, only recognize where you are based on the sounds.
