The Last Lude?
I am a big fan of budget fragrances as long as they promise an honest naturalness, and so it was somehow clear that this classic couldn't hide from me for long...
I have a mini as an aftershave in front of me, black lettering, vertical logo.
Unfortunately, and somewhat inexplicably, Marbert Man doesn't come off too well here, but just wait another 5 years until the last nose has been burned off by the synthetic stuff, then you will see that even the 24-hour gas station only carries synthetic deodorants. :o)
So, here we go, I unscrew the golden cap from the bottle and apply a small amount to the back of my hand.
It starts off loud, but not shamelessly, just for a short time lemon, soon an animalic note joins in, pleasantly slowing down the freshness.
It spreads wide and warm on the skin, it is also one of those fragrances that are allowed to change over time. The floral notes fade, making way for a somewhat leathery soap, but that never stops the lemon-floral beast from flashing back in every now and then.
The drydown is rounded, leathery, warm, soft, sexy.
No, I consider Marbert Man to be an underrated fragrance, even if it appears with gold chains around the neck in the golden 560 SEC, with a bouquet of flowers on the passenger seat, red leather of course.
And of course, kids have no business being out at this hour in the district. Not at all...

I tested it today and really like it! As mentioned, it’s sold as a “classic.” Great masculine scent!

It says here that the fragrance is "production apparently discontinued." I think that's incorrect, as the scent is still available as Marbert Man classic in slightly altered packaging. The fragrance itself has remained the same.

Maybe you're referring to the Toro? I'll try to describe it soon...
