Perfect Elixir Marc Jacobs 2024

I think I'm going to become a Marc Jacobs fan
I am currently in a total "Daisy Love - Eau So Sweet" high and every time I go out, I look to see if I can test another Marc Jacobs perfume. Today it was "Perfect Elixir." I can't help it, I find it somehow smells like Pina Colada, even though there is neither coconut nor pineapple in it. Once again, I was very surprised when reading the notes. At first, it is particularly strong, then after 30 minutes it recedes into the background and the plum emerges warm, sweet-vanilla, and full-bodied. I can also sniff out the resin quite authentically and think it gives the fragrance a very exciting character. I won't buy it, but it is still a lot of fun to explore the scent. I find it very unusual and an exciting change from many other fragrances.
Vanilla and patchouli become stronger over time (I love this combo) with orange oil very lightly in the background; all of this gives the fragrance something mysterious; a bit of an oriental summer night for me.

I also smell coconut when I catch a whiff, and I think the comparison to Pina Colada is very spot on. My first impression: delicious, cheerful, and yet substantial. Best regards from Fragrantia.
