Yes, coconut is strangely not listed in the fragrance pyramid, but it is very clearly, if not the most clearly, perceivable, enveloped by sweet vanilla. In my opinion, the scent progression is also relatively linear, which in this case does not detract from the fragrance itself. On the contrary: precisely because it is linear, it is so beautiful. In the background, there may be slight woods, but they are so subtle that they are almost imperceptible. I had been searching for a while for a fragrance that reminds me of Virgin Colada. Among others, there was
Alien Goddess Eau de Parfum with a refreshing but more sunscreen-like coconut note. A fragrance that I don't actually dislike, but it doesn't reflect the colada concept as intended
Leisure in Paradise with a pronounced pineapple note, which, however, comes across as too alcoholic and causes nausea for me, etc.
I searched from designer to niche and ultimately stumbled upon this fragrance here. At first, I thought I would probably encounter yet another well-known homogenized scent, but when I tested the fragrance first on the test strip and then on my skin, it pleasantly surprised me. Yes, coconut and Virgin Colada might be more suited for summer, but I belong to those who love such scents all year round. Moreover, the prominent coconut note is made suitable for winter by the softly enveloping vanilla. Longevity and sillage are unfortunately rather mediocre, but with 3-4 sprays, you can't go wrong.
My tip: just spray it on and mentally transport yourself to a wellness vacation on the beach. Yes, to be honest, it doesn't belong to my Best of Sweet, but it is certainly a lovely detail in my fragrance collection. Give it a chance, even if you might not particularly like the scents of the brand: for me, this is the only one from the brand that I have liked so far.
