Perfect Elixir Marc Jacobs 2024

Ah.....how could I ever manage without you. Until now, I have avoided Marc Jacobs because my last bottle was unfortunately a dud. Perfect, beautiful but poor longevity/sillage. By now, I am no longer an oversprayer, but how quickly this bottle ran out was quite annoying. Let's get to the perfect elixir. Often, we consumers are misled by the words intense or elixir, fueling the hope of owning our favorite scent in a much stronger form. We all know that this is not the case... of course, there are exceptions. But now to the beautiful lilac-colored elixir. I sense a creaminess in my nose. The original elixir is to be guessed. Most clearly, I perceive amber, vanilla, a bit of rhubarb, and this creaminess (resins) in the opening. A creaminess like in Molton Brown Milk Musk. Please don't think of something sticky because of the honey and resins! If anything, it is dark floral honey, and now the orange blossom comes into play. Okay, Mr. Jacobs, you have won back a new, old fan. Because with this, the designer has proven that I am not just paying for the name and a playful bottle. Well, the elixir must find its way into my collection. Somehow, I also perceive a subtle perfect coconut note. Actually, I can't rate this less than a 10!
