Same same but different

It's not new to cross two popular scents. Recently there were some nice attempts with Aventus and Green Irish Tweed - see Armafs Le Parfait. Marc Joseph joins the line here and tries a combination of Sauvage and Green Irish Tweed with Mj Man.

Whereby for me the focus is quite clear (maybe 70:30) on the Sauvage page. In the start quite synthetic-aquatic, but not unpleasant, is still the GIT- or Cool Water-Vibe in front. Quite soon, however, the typical DNA of Sauvage (EdP) is perceived, which then also takes the lead in the further course. But unlike my role models, there is also some fruit in the background that reminds me most of Rasasis Hawas. In general, with all the freshness, there is also an oriental-looking spice, which I can't really grasp.

All in all, this is pleasant and well done. And yet, it doesn't really catch fire with me. Maybe because Mj Man doesn't do anything wrong, but nothing better than Sauvage and GIT or Cool Water taken by itself. I can't think of any situation in which you couldn't reach just as well (or maybe even better) for the originals. Maybe there is someone who regularly can't decide between the two - but this hasn't happened to me yet. If you are interested in Sauvage, then please take a look at the full programme, including the metallic sharpness at the beginning. That's what I miss all about here, for example.

As for the power, I'm a little disappointed. If one takes the intensity of the models into account, a combination would have to have almost atomic radiant power. This is not the case despite the EdP concentration, not even to some extent. The endurance is still fine, the Sillage seems strong only at the beginning and then lies down very quickly. Overall only good average.

All in all, all this is not enough for me to permanently move in with me. If you like the originals, you can remain thoughtless while Mj Man offers a real added value in no discipline
