The original Desir Toxic is a bit more mellow, but here the creamy woodiness is much more prominent. It opens similarly to a blend between Blessed Baraka and Oud by ADP (or even Rito Riserva IX) with a somewhat uplifting citrusy amber. The middle stage follows a similar path to those mentioned, featuring citrus and creamy oud, but without any cannabis — which was the main reason I wanted to sample this perfume. Considering the design and the backstories, I was hoping for something more phytocomplex — a bold herbaceous character, ideally blended with a dark base at best.
