Amazing amber
I have two of Mary Kay’s perfumes. They are both great. And they both have a wonderful amber note. Genji came to me some years ago and I was amazed the first time I smelled it. And the second time. And third. It keeps doing it. It has a warm, nutty/earthy/woody expression an I can not help myself sniffing my wrist loads of times when wearing it. It is a mood lifter.
A gorgeous beginning with plum and apricot makes your mouth water. So delicious and sweet. But after few minutes the real magic begins: the amber note. So warm, round and deep. It is accompanied by sandalwood and patchouli in a divine combination, and it stays like that for hours. I do not get a lot of flowers - just this marvelous triangle.
The bottle, however, is not my favourite. It is such a shame that this heavenly juice is so poorly presented. I am sure the intentions were good but it is way too plastic-y and I have no clue about the shape of it.
However, I recommend this perfume heartily.
