Guardian angel

It's raining cats and dogs, my clothes are completely soaked. After an exhausting, long shift at work, all I want to do is go home and relax. It's Sunday evening, the streets are deserted. The few unfortunate people I see outside stare coolly at the ground as they quickly disappear behind veiled corners of the city. It's every man for himself, there's an unaccustomed silence in the city. The wind picks up, the cold and dampness gets into my bones.

After what feels like an eternity, I finally arrive home. When I open the front door, I can feel the warmth of the apartment, but my insides are still cold. Something is missing. Someone is missing. My dog, my most loyal companion. He died a few days ago and the loss of him is still deep inside me. I am quickly overcome by feelings of sadness. I walk slowly through the simply furnished apartment to my kitchen. I brew my favorite tea and grab a warm blanket. Now I'm sitting at the kitchen table, well wrapped up in the blanket and with a warm cup of tea in my hands. Sip by sip, it warms me and gives me strength. The sadness slowly disappears, and little by little nostalgic memories of my faithful companion come flooding back. Like a guardian angel, the tea wraps its warm wings around me and melts the cold inside me.

The fragrance starts off cool and slightly spicy with mint and black pepper, the raspberry rounds off the whole thing with a light fruity sweetness.

This is followed by a warm, strong black tea. The base notes make it almost smoky.
It feels wonderfully cozy, as if you were drinking tea in front of a fireplace.

The black tea lingers until the end and becomes cooler and cooler over time, as if you were slowly finishing a cup of tea.

Masterpiece!
