Massimo Dutti Massimo Dutti 1988 Eau de Toilette

Wonderfully Balanced
I am already known here as a lover of affordable and unknown Italian fragrances; it's about time I also include the corresponding Spaniards in my favorites...
Thanks to the esteemed colleague Bertel for the enlightening background information. When Puig takes the helm, it's no surprise that "Massimo Dutti" has the following characteristics: Natural, spicy, balanced, universally applicable, and - last but not least - affordable.
The fragrance pyramid is so classic that I had no doubts about whether I would like it with this blind purchase. More than that, this scent covers so many areas, users, and occasions that other manufacturers would really have to feel embarrassed in the corner: Whether young or old, work or leisure, summer or (hm..., okay, winter probably doesn't work, but every other season does), it simply works all the time.
Present yet unobtrusive; rare enough to stand out (pleasantly); with decent longevity and just the right skin-close sillage. In sum, truly great.
It's quite affordable and easily available on the bay as well. The ultimate all-rounder, and this without any marketing or advertising nonsense. The gentlemen Boss, Lacoste, Gucci, etc. could not only take a slice but many slices from this.
Puig, I just like you...
_____
Addendum: Ha, Yatagan and Hordak. Now I've caught both of you, haven't I?

Yes! I'm buying that. Great comment, and Puig is brilliant. Have you heard of Agua Lavanda...?
