Musk Master 2020

With Scuro, Bois 1920 has created a frankincense-elemi resin fragrance that I believe could appeal to many who typically do not like these two notes.

Thanks to the bergamot and grapefruit, the elemi resin-frankincense mix comes across refreshed, and that benefits the scent. It’s a different way to present these two notes, and thus the two accords feel quite different.

Somehow, the fragrance still has this slightly woody-resinous flair that comes from the resin, but it also gets this wonderful citrus twist.
Therefore, I find that this scent is also great to wear in the summer.

Additionally, there is a certain spiciness from cardamom and a light creamy-sweet touch from the amber and vanilla.

This amber-vanilla mix, which presents a fine sweetness, becomes a bit more intense over time.
Furthermore, pleasantly woody components join in.

All in all, a truly wonderful fragrance that manages to present a certain smokiness as well as this resinous component in a fresh way.

Personally, I immediately associate the scent with a herbal sauna. And I really like that... it is fresh but at the same time it has beautiful herbs that simply relax me. I have been searching for a fragrance in this direction for a long time, and the one from Tobba also falls into this category, but for me, Scuro is slightly ahead. Because it is a bit softer and fresher, making it very pleasant and it lasts a long time as well.

The bottle is also beautiful and unique. The brand has so many lovely fragrances, but this one is one of those that stands out. A scent that can be worn in any season, in my opinion. And it simply invites you to cuddle. Mama mia, I have been looking for you and have finally found you. Please give this a chance.

This fragrance gives me a truly good mix of zesty fresh, sparkling spicy, and resinous/smoky.

At first, you think more of a fresh men's fragrance of the classic kind, but the spiciness quickly takes center stage and occasionally lets the soft incense through, which adds a nuance of depth to the whole.

For me, the wheel wasn't reinvented here, but we have a really nice scent for the office or other casual events that stands out a bit and brings something special.

It won't be a classic, but it has a lot to offer and is fun!
