Sweet-spicy fragrance with a balsamic base
Next up is the brand Reinvented. I don't know anything about this brand, not even which country it comes from. However, I like the concept of the fragrances, and the small range seems quite interesting to me. For this reason, I ordered a discovery set during Black Week, also because I love such sets and enjoy testing them. I adore the Sacred Bond Eau de Parfum with its fruity sweetness, which I treated myself to a few months ago in a bottle. This Eureka seems to be the number 2 of the brand in terms of attention and sales figures. After some testing, I can say: rightfully so. I haven't tested all the fragrances in this set yet, but in my opinion, it deserves its high ranking here. If you like sweet-spicy fragrances with a wonderful balsamic note in the base, you will find a lovely cozy scent, especially for autumn and winter, thanks to this cozy vibe. Prices are fair for the brand, especially when you take advantage of offers and discounts. The MSRP for 75ml is €180, which is reasonable given the quality. The fragrances are extraits, which is evident in the performance and rich notes. The Eureka Eau de Parfum has been discontinued and replaced by this extrait. I haven't tested the old EdP, but it seems to be significantly more well-known here, or some have mistakenly commented on it.
The bottles and packaging appear lovingly crafted and elegant. The standout features are, of course, these cool caps, and the bottles themselves are quite impressive. They feel great in hand and have a luxurious look.
Eureka is a thoroughly cozy fragrance. Even though there is a lot of sweetness involved, it comes across as stylish and is complemented by a pleasant spiciness, with warm balsamic notes emerging early on to create the cozy scent. In my opinion, the star here is the Tolubalsam, which simply disperses a warm and balsamic note. Spicy notes are added, including a wonderful coffee note that contributes a slightly bitter touch. Nutmeg and cardamom also provide a great spiciness that is well-balanced. Violet leaf adds a subtly green and distinctive character. But as mentioned, the focus is on a sweet spiciness and balsamic/resinous notes from Tolubalsam and Styrax. A bit of wood and subtly dark patchouli also come through. Overall, it is rounded, with the balsamic and soft note that will not clash anywhere, and there will be hardly anyone who has an aversion to this scent. The fragrance is suitable for everyday wear on milder & cool days, but it also shines in the evening with its sensual-balsamic sweetness.
The performance lives up to the extrait, but the scent type is noticeably softer than, for example, an extremely loud Sacred Bond. Everything is understated and stylish, making it versatile.
Overall, a great fragrance that fits well with the current times and could do quite well in the coming months. Balsamic notes are not for everyone; otherwise, it is not a scent that clashes extremely and is therefore very mass-appealing. Thumbs up and a recommendation.
