Dusty Late Summer
(My first comment on Perfumo - I think it's time to take the plunge. So for the start, a comment on something that is no longer produced ;)
Just a few weeks ago, while moving, I found a box with "old" perfumes from my teenage years. (A big dream back then: to own all Mel Merios!) - "Exotic Girl" was one of them and immediately got a second chance. For almost 5 days, I have worn this scent almost all day to notice exact scent developments or subtle changes. Exotic Girl is not really exciting, initially synthetic, then quite clearly focused on "mango" and "vanilla", with the latter clearly dominating and lasting longer. When rubbed between the wrists, the fruity note almost instantly disappears.
However, E.G. surprisingly lasts quite long; even after 9 hours at university, I could still sniff remnants on my skin. And none of my fellow humans complained, so the sillage was suitable for everyday use ^^
The title comes from the fact that this vanilla scent reminds me extremely of dusty late summer evenings in the garden. Indian summer with cobwebs floating in the air and orange-red sunsets (the bottle color fits this feeling very well!). Somehow dry and heavy, but also sweet, (comparable to being in a dusty attic) Not unpleasant, but also not something for every day as I had to find out. The vanilla has a somewhat "dated" quality.
I probably associate these strange scenarios only from personal memory, but if I feel melancholic in the summer, I will definitely unpack Exotic Girl again ;)
