Scent

not my cup of tea, but still a distinctive coffee fragrance regardless

i think if there's one smell that i grew tired of is coffee as a part of fragrance - on one half i've been involved heavily in specialised coffee making hobby that grew my nose into more discriminating on which coffee that smells good, and the other half comes from my "PTSD" of smelling coffee room diffuser that's being placed anywhere during my sophomore college class and the memory of smelling stale pungent coffee fragrance that makes me actively avoiding actual coffee based fragrance until now

meo fusciuni's little song unfortunately didn't manage to dispel my disdain of such scents, but simultaneously i understand the underlying quality and uniqueness of the blend itself. inspired by nick cave's macabre yet self-introspective music that delves into his own memory and existential crisis, imprezzabile creates a bridge between musky spices and dry grounded coffee that creates impression of quaint coziness akin to be in a dark, dreary cafe with fleeting depth of animalics and earthy tobaccos (which at times reminds me of Une Nuit Nomade's Memory Motel).

unfortunately the coffee smell itself kind of reminds me to the aforementioned bad room scents memory, but if you look past that and experience the constant shaping from each other components, little song will provide a fascinating lullaby that conjure a particular damp room that you can imagine the griminess happening there - probably the death of Stagger Lee
