At first, I think I smell watermelon, cool and fresh, like in "Femina" by Ferreti. However, the pyramid does not mention it. Probably a synthetic fragrance that can also be classified as "aquatic" or "marine"...
Instead of sunscreen, I first have the scent of shoe polish in my nose, albeit a pleasant kind. But soon this "I know this from somewhere" feeling comes back. Intense pondering... This is again that rather heavy floral-sweet, slightly spicy scent, somewhere between honeysuckle and sweet pea, although I mean the natural flowers, because no honeysuckle or sweet pea perfume has really come close to what I smell in the garden.
And there are two very similar perfumes that convey this scent impression, although honeysuckle or sweet pea do not appear in the pyramid: "Beachy" and "L’Eau de Monteil".
Yes, I perceive "Long-Board" as a "scent sister" to the two, although not as a twin.
The two previously mentioned I traditionally use in April, but they fit, just like "Long-Board" of course, very well for a sultry midsummer evening, as they create the illusion of beach feeling in the tropics.
