Sexual Noir

I got this fragrance as my monthly scent from Scentbird a while ago, and I really enjoy it. On the first spray, it leans more fruity with the lime and strawberry being quite prominent to me, after that you get some of the florals until it dries down into a really nice warm/woody scent with the vanilla, amber, and sandalwood being the most prominent. I can see how this could lean more mature and floral for some people, but to me, the florals take a backseat as the other notes really shine. I'm thinking of getting a full size of this because of how much I liked it. The longevity and sillage aren't anything spectacular, but overall, it's a very nice warm/fruity scent.

Vintage floral type

I don’t want to be rude and call this an old lady perfume. However, it definitely does feel like a vintage heavily floral, overwhelming fragrance.

I don’t like it. I had high expectations for it seeing as it does have several notes that I tend to gravitate towards. But I feel like it just to strong and overwhelming.

Whipped strawberry with creamy floral notes

This fragrance is so smooth and well blended, there is so much going on and yet it is never overly complex. It starts with a fruity opening. Citric with a slightly synthetic berry note in the mix as well.

As it dries down, the citric notes fade away and you get more of a whipped strawberry note. It may be a little powdery, but not in a vintage or dated way. Just soft, creamy and velvety. At the base, the vanilla continues but you also become more aware of the woodsy notes as well. The woodiness is grounding and gives this a more elevated and elegant aroma. It keeps it from veering into gourmand territory and brings a more mature elegance.

The projection is fairly intimate, definitely closer to a skin-scent on me. It also doesn't appear to be particularly long-lasting, however it may be that I just become "nose-blind" to it quickly. This is definitely a crowd-pleaser. Soft, elegant and inoffensive. It's not going to stand-out as a groundbreaking fragrance, but it will make you smell nice and very feminine. Perfect scent for all seasons but especially spring and summer.
