Deauville pour Homme Michel Germain 1999 Eau de Toilette

A very nice classic, Gentleman's fragrance indeed! It does somewhat reminds me of Shalimar edt even more than Guerlain's own Habit Rouge does. Moderate/Soft, powdery projection and above average longevity of atleast 6 to 7 hours on skin. Honestly, if ya threw this scent into a Square, Bottle of the Guerlain's mens offerings itd fit right in! Theres nothing "Synthetic" or harsh about Deauville Pour Homme. No alchohol blast in the opening. Very Dapper/Dandy-Ish. Just an amazing TRUE "Hidden Gem" of a fragrance! 25 and up.would be my age group and I think it may even be nice on the ladies! For around $15 bucks at my local Rack-Store? A total steal and I HIGHLY recommend Deauville Pour Homme! 8.5 outta 10 in my book! Again, this is a TRUE Gentleman's scent! Im super-impressed!

It is a nice Woody fragrance, Based on Michel Germain Site is a Woody scent , In my opinion It is a bit classic and mature. It reminds me a bit of Shalimar EDT for Women ! If you like a barbershop and old school style perfume, you will like this one. It opens up with like slightly smoky, fresh spicy, herbal and tobacco notes in the background then dry down is mossy woody. This is perfect for the spring, fall and winter. I like Deauville Pour Homme EDT for Men.

No label is as much hit or miss as Michel Germain.

MG is the house label of Macy's/Bloomingdales, which also represents the primary distribution channel. At Macy's, as a high-priced brand, one expects corresponding quality, especially since the MG perfumes change hands for hefty amounts.

Deauville is a hit. It reminds one of Versace Baby Blue Jeans, but is less citrusy and more aimed at the 40+ target group. Unobtrusive, actually quite subtle with a rather poor longevity of 4-5 hours. There is no significant scent development, yet it is absolutely convincing as it smells expensive and elegant, and due to its limited sillage, it is also great for the office. Yes, it all sounds unexciting, but it has been in near-weekly use for several years now. A great all-rounder.
