for a naturally sophisticated man
This is an elegant, natural-smelling scent that I'd love to smell on a slightly unconventional male office worker wearing a suit. Lavender predominates throughout, with a pleasant pepperiness that must come from the carnation. I also get occasional hints of mint and grass that are probably the absinthe. It's a relatively simple scent, but quite pleasing. The downside to me is the lack of longevity - it's substantially faded at 2 hours, nearly vanished at 4. However, as niche perfumes go, it's not very expensive ($90 US for 50 ml), so one could keep a decant in one's desk and enjoy freshening up with it.
