A modern Chypre or Fruitychouli. I like it

I finally got "Coeur de Jardin." Blindly, I placed a lot of trust in the comments of bloggers and the altruism. And what can I say about my impressions?

They are not what I expected, but definitely very positive. For me, the scent is not a garden as the name suggests. At least, that’s not how I envision a garden. In my opinion, the scent lacks the earthy and green notes (which should relatively dominate). No, the scent is not green and not particularly floral.

It can best be described as herb-sweet or compared to a fragrant honey.
The scent is definitely fruity-sweet. An overripe pear lies at its heart. But that's not all. The scent is chypre-like, especially at the beginning, with its very distinctive opening.

Ripe pears and peaches gain more bitterness and zest through skillful hesperidic notes; I believe I also perceive moss and patchouli right at the start. The scent even reminds me a bit of "Mitsouko" by Guerlain in this fantastic phase. In the heart, the scent becomes a bit less bitter and zesty, and more rounded and honey-pear-sweet. But you can't simply call the olfactory impression straightforward. The base is warm, soft, beautiful, and erotic: musky-vanilla (with minimal patchouli) and in a refined way.

The scent lasts incredibly well on the skin-actually all day! (Unusual for Miller Harris) and has a moderate projection, especially in the first 4-5 hours, particularly if you spray it additionally in your hair or on your clothes (where it, however, loses some of its chypre-like qualities).

Conclusion: a dreamily good and unique scent. A clear recommendation from someone who normally does not like sweet-fruity fragrances. This one is somehow quite special.
